Filemenu Tools: free utility customize context menu in Windows XP, Vista and 7

Many times when we install a software in Windows, adds it automatically context menu its entry into force in (right-click menu). Some software such as WinRAR, 7-Zip, etc you can using their settings dialog entries are removed, but many other software do not matter.


To manually remove these entries, you must edit the Windows registry. We have posted a tutorial in the past to add or remove from context menu items using the Registry Editor:

But if you aren't familiar with registry but you want to delete unwanted entries from context menu are like, here's an excellent freeware for you.


"File Menu Tools" is a free software for Windows, to you to unnecessary allows removeentries in context menu. Also the "send to" you can configure menu. You can add new commands or remove existing commands from the Send to menu.


This free utility also adds its own menu in the context menu that actually a group of many useful system commands like copy, move, rename the copy to, etc.

You can add or remove entries from the custom menu so that you only have entries that you want. Open the program simple and deselect the items that you want that you do not want to display. You can add new items by clicking on "Add command" link in the left sidebar.

If you do not display File Menu Tools-post in the context menu, you can disable the option by the "> Options File Menu Tools-".


The most interesting and useful part of this great tool is the ability to remove unwanted entries from context menu. In the main window, click tab "commands from other applications" and here you can configure entries for all types of context menu such as file folder context menu, context menu, context menu, station etc.

It can be installed in Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and 7. Both 32-bit and 64-bit editions are supported.
