Enabling new "Compact navigation" feature in Google Chrome? Toolbar and Addressbar make car-hidden

We all know that Google has released stable version 13 of his ChromeWeb browser:

The new version comes with many new features such as instant page to put together and print preview.


One new feature that you definitely want to try is "Compact navigation". Now you can turn off the toolbar and addressbar in Google Chrome to screen to save space.


Once you enable this feature, you will only see back/forward buttons, wrench icon and tabs in titlebar, nothing else. Once you open a new tab, you get the addressbar as a drop-down box under the tab as shown in the following screenshot:

You can use the addressbar also vigorously any time using a simple left-click on the "display" tab.


Follow these simple steps to this hidden feature:


1. Type on: flags in addressbar, and then press Enter.


2. Scroll down and you get an option "Compact navigation".

3. click enable link.


4. now click right-click tab and select "hide the toolbar" option.

5. that's it. It will hide the toolbar and addressbar and you'll have more space on your screen to browse your favorite websites.
