We all know about home screen introduced in Windows 8 which live tiles with installed programs in Windows 8 shows:

Today we are going to another freeware "Pulmon" live tiles similar to Windows 8 Start screen on Windows 7 Desktop bringsparts. This free and portable tool is created by "Paras Sidhu", a 13-year-old developer from India.
To use, you only need to download the RAR file with WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract and enter Pulmon .exe file. On the screen will show the main window.
You just have to click on a tile to Desktop to add. Once you have added the tiles, click "move to Tray" button to hide main window. At any time, you can open by double-clicking the system tray icon.
If you want to remove a tile, again open the program window, and then click the tile are present in "Tiles" section.
It is very easy to use. Currently provides the following tiles:
User: Clicking on "user tile" will open a user Widget. If you want to open user accounts, double-click the green spot of tile or double-click the Avatar of the user. There are many customizations available for user tile. Right-click the tile and click Options. You can choose Take User Avatar Windows System or choose custom avatar.
Control Panel: Clicking tile panel loads the widget control panel. You can open Control Panel by clicking on the stone.
Clock: Pulmon offer you a very cool widget "clock". It will show you time, month, and day of the week.
Shutdown Manager: It is a very easy to use widget that lets you control your PC with one click. Options shutdown, restart, log off and Hibernate. Please note that some of the features not working atm.
Internet Explorer: This tile you can open Internet Explorer Web browser.
Webby: Webby is another good widget that lets you quickly access tech sites like AskVG.com, etc.
Please note that Pulmon currently in Beta phase. More tiles will be added in future versions.
