We all know that Microsoft upcoming OS "Windows 8" is currently in testing and Milestone 3 build has been leaked.

We are regularly posting about new features in Windows 8 found in our section "Windows 8" but there are people who some confusion in the mind, so today we are going in this topic to clarify all this confusion and a list of all the facts and secrets about Windows 8.

What We know about Windows 8

1. Windows 8 is the upcoming OS from Microsoft and is also known as Windows vNext.

Don't worry, you will be able to the Ribbon to make more space in the minimize window.

Things that We need to know about Windows 8

Because several new features introduced in Windows 8 such as Aero Lite theme, getting started screen, etc., many people get confused and start thinking that Windows 8 will not suitable for normal Desktop PCs and will only support of tablets. This is not correct.

Following points will clear all your doubts and confusion:

1. a lot of people think that Windows 8 only interface optimized for tablets. That's not true!

Windows 8 comes as a traditional Desktop OS (such as Windows Vista and 7), as well as an OS for touch based tablets. So it can be considered a 2-in-1 OS.

Although its not clear, but whether it both UI in Desktop and Laptop will offer or the UI will be presented on the basis of the detected hardware.

Anyway even if the UI is locked by Microsoft, people will find a way to unlock the locked UI. ;)

2. a lot of people don't like new "Aero Lite" theme and complain about it. "Aero Lite" is actually a revised version of "Windows basic" theme present in Windows Vista and 7.

Windows 8 will come with a refreshing Aero glass theme like Windows Vista and 7, but also provides Aero Lite theme for low-end machines that cannot support Aero theme.

3. When Microsoft introduced "getting started screen" in Windows 8, people complained about replacing Start menu with getting started screen. That's not going to happen.

"Start screen" will not replace Windows Start menu. You would be able to use Start menu if you are currently in Windows Vista and 7.

"Start screen" is actually developed for tablets and are not clear yet or desktops and Laptops will have or not.
